Here you are yor new task for today. I hope you find it very easy! 😊
- Can you say what types of mixtures these substances are?
- Water and salt
- Pieces of iron and wood
- Oil and water
- Water and alcohol
- Sand and stones
- What type of separating method would you use to separate them?
As usual, I'm waiting for your great answers in the comments below! ↓
(Don't forget to write your name too!)

Hi teacher, this is my homework:
ResponderEliminar- Water and salt are a homogeneous mixture that can be separated using evaporation for example, in the production of table salt.
- Pieces of iron and Wood is a heterogeneous mixture and it can be separated by magnetic separation.
- Oil and water is a heterogeneous mixture, it can be separated using decantation because oil has lower density than water.
- Water and alcohol are a homogeneous mixture and it´s separated using distillation because they have different boiling points.
- Sand and stones are a heterogeneous mixture that can be separated by filtration.
